Dr. Claire Burrows
Dr. Claire Burrows graduated magna cum laude from the the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1999. Immediately after graduating, she began practicing in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with her father and mentor in their family practice. She practiced there until 2006, when her husband‘s job moved them to Anchorage Alaska for five years. While in Alaska, she obtained her Alaskan dental license and practiced with a dental school colleague living in Wasilla. In 2011, she moved back with her family to Kentucky and her home base at Kimble Burrows Family Dentistry. She also held an associate dentist position at Campbell Family Dentistry for over five years and at Cosmetic and Family Dentistry of Lagrange for a year. In addition to associateships, Dr. Burrows worked for Big Smiles Dental for the 2017-2018 school year, bringing dental care to underserved children right in their schools. In January 2019, her father retired and sold his practice. Dr. Burrows began to look for other options to bring dental care to those who might be underserved. She started her own mobile dental practice, Kentucky On-Site Dental Services, serving seniors in their assisted living facilities. Unfortunately her mobile practice did not sustain the challenges of Covid lock downs. She began to work for several local dentists, including her good friend from dental school, Dr. Babcock, on an as needed basis. Dr. Burrows now works at our office every Friday. After treating patients 2 to 102 for the past 24 years, she has developed the skills needed to provide the loving, quality care that our patients expect.
